Prague Faspitch Spring 2018 softball tournament was held in Prague this weekend. 14 teams from six countries (Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland, Greece and Croatia) participated in the tournament. U nedjelju, 8.4.2018., odigrana je prva službena utakmica hrvatskog prvenstva. Medvedi su sezonu otvorili uvjerljivom pobjedom protiv Giantsa. Gia-Med_8.4.2018. Stastika Također su odigrane i dvije pripremne utakmice seniorske reprezenzacije i to protiv ekipe Giantsa i Medvednice. Obje utakmice je dobila seniorska reprezentacija, 13:3 protiv Giantsa i 11:6 protiv Medvednice.
On Saturday 07.04.2018. as part of the preparations for the upcoming European Championships, a part of the male senior team will play against the teams of Zagreb Giants and Mrki Medvedi. Croatian Cup final was played on 12th of November. SPAN and Giants fought for the finals. In a tense game that went into extra innings, Giants won 13:9. Medvednica was waiting in the final,and with convincing win they took a third crown in the season. This year Zadar team also participated in the Croatian Cup.
